Everything Has Two Sides - Also COVID-19

The first country which had Covid-19 was my homeland, China. I was so worried about my family in China, especially my parents, because it’s easier for elders to die from this disease.

Unfortunately, Covid-19 quickly spread to the whole world. Although it has been horrible, it also gives the earth a chance to breathe and allow people to slow down.

I was unemployed and lived on government benefits. I was staying at home every day. At first, it was so dull since there was no bar, no activities, and no work. There was nothing to do. I also refused to watch tv because it was full of bad news. Some cities had 200 people who caught the virus.

After a few days of downturn, I suddenly realized I had free time for myself, which is the most precious. I didn’t want to waste my time. I cleaned my room, started planting some flowers in my garden, applied for online classes, and tried to cook some delicious food by myself. I took an optimistic way to look at the pandemic, and it taught me to enjoy my life not only to be a working machine.
