In Edmonton, The Shoe Project collaborates with SkirtsAFire, Edmonton’s theatre and arts festival dedicated to cultivating, experiencing, and sharing women’s artistic expression. Twelve women originally coming from Afghanistan, Turkey, Syria, China, Ukraine, Côte d’Ivoire, and Cameroon are working with Writing Mentor Conni Massing at the beautiful meeting space donated by YWCA Edmonton.

Our shows will be part of the SkirsAFire Festival in March 2023: an opening show on the evening of March 11 and a matinée on March 12.
